The Product Designer will be coming into an organization where the design system is fairly established, in that MVP designs have been completed, and existing designers are already working with a digital agency to build out the app features. Which is a great chance to learn the ropes and get ready to work on future innovation of the product!Your role, then, is at first transitional: working shoulder-to-shoulder with the outside agency on the hand-off process to bring follow-on app design and development in-house after a successful launch. You’ll familiarize yourself with the features and aesthetic of the app so that you can ideate and iterate new design concepts for the future. Integrating your production ideas with the established creative vision, you’ll act as a do-it-all designer working with multiple stakeholders on everything from prototyping to visual UI decisions.The QuestWhat success looks like in your first year…Work with the partner agency to find out “where the bodies are buried” so there are no surprises in functionality or aesthetic a year from now.Post-launch, work with product team to drive innovation, building on what the partner agency has established.Use your understanding of existing creative direction to ideate on new iterations and be able to defend those decisions in creative strategy sessions.Why You?How you’ll know if you’re a fit…You’re a highly capable, versatile designer of desktop, mobile, and TV user experiences.
