Vice President, User Experience II

to join our team. This role is located in Pune, MH – HYBRID.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:Provide guidance and technical expertise for complex user experience activities including user research and testing, interactive design, and visual design.Review documentation of research findings presented to product and development teams, as well as new and modified user personas.Participate and provide guidance in the creation of concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications to meet project schedules.Synthesize situations and information across multiple factors while applying company policies and procedures in the resolution of various issues.Give design feedback and build effective relationships with team members and across other teams.Mentor and train junior designers while advocating for the user experience across the firm.Operate from a Studio centric model, receiving general instructions from a rotating set of Lead Designers and exercising discretion under limited supervision.To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human-computer interaction, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.10-16 years of experience required.Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
