Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in User Experience, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, Psychology, Human Computer-Interaction (HCI), Human Factors or a related field5 years of experience or equivalent competency designing solutions for software, web applications or mobile native apps3 years of experience using industry standard design and prototyping tools to create low- and high-fidelity designs, such as VoiceFlow or FigmaDemonstrated experience defining success criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs) used to measure design effectivenessDemonstrated experience influencing, negotiating with and gaining buy-in from stakeholders, including leadershipDemonstrated experience applying the design decision making process and using data and key findings to inform designDemonstrated experience supporting the iterative design process from end-to-end, including wire-framing, prototyping, user testing and high-fidelity visualsDemonstrated experience with speech design, voice user interface design, or natural-language interface design, testing, tools, processes and platforms, such as Alexa Skills Kit, Dialogflow or IBM Watson AssistantDemonstrated experience with the fundamentals of language interaction, such as prosody or Cooperative PrincipleUnderstanding of common design heuristics and principlesDemonstrated ability to train and mentorPreferred Qualifications

As a Senior Conversational Experience Designer, you'll deliver superior conversational product experiences to achieve business objectives and successful client outcomes. You'll apply UX, UI and conversation principles and methodologies to enhance conversational product design through user research and testing. You'll assist with defining best practices for the design discipline and mentor peers. You'll need to independently execute work that is consistently of high quality. You'll also be expected to be capable of tackling more ambiguous problems. At this level, experience has helped practitioners learn nuance and finesse in their primary technical competencies. This experience has deepened your understanding of the business impact of your work as well as how to communicate and measure that impact. You'll have also developed additional strategic skills such as facilitation and storytelling.Responsibilities
