The Digital Content Marketing manager will lead content strategy, creation and search engine optimization (SEO), by developing and ensuring a consistent voice that supports Mersive’s brand. Roles and Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Development:

Craft compelling, fresh, and well-researched content that drives traffic, engages audiences, and nurtures prospects. Develop and manage a diverse content mix, including TOFU (Top of Funnel) and MOFU (Middle of Funnel) assets like blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and SEO-optimized web pages.

Campaign Content Creation:

Produce high-quality campaign content across various formats, including articles, blogs, email marketing messages, and web copy, ensuring consistency with overall marketing goals and brand voice.

SEO & Performance Optimization:

Own and execute Mersive’s SEO strategy, continuously improving content performance to enhance search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. Collaborate with product marketing and PR teams to integrate keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.

Digital Marketing Strategy Oversight:

Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, focusing on content marketing, digital lead generation, and SEO initiatives that drive brand awareness and lead generation.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance, website traffic, and engagement metrics. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, optimize content, and improve overall marketing outcomes.

Email Marketing Campaigns:

Develop and manage targeted email marketing campaigns, including nurture sequences, feature adoption emails, and drip campaigns, in coordination with BDR (Business Development Reps), ISS (Inside Sales), and Product Marketing teams.

Marketing Automation & Lead Nurturing:

Implement and manage marketing automation workflows and lead nurturing programs. Ensure campaigns align with overall sales goals and continuously optimize for better conversion rates.

Compliance & Best Practices:

Adhere to email marketing best practices, including CAN-SPAM compliance, data privacy regulations, and list hygiene. Continuously improve processes to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.

Collaboration & Integration:

Work closely with the sales team to ensure email campaigns and content strategies support broader sales initiatives. Facilitate seamless integration of content strategies across various marketing channels.

Desired Qualifications/Experience

Experience & Expertise:

3-5+ years of experience in email marketing and marketing automation platforms, with direct experience in Klaviyo required.

5+ years of B2B content marketing, direct copywriting, or editorial experience.

Solid understanding of content marketing strategy, buyer journeys, and SEO.

Proficiency in HTML/CSS and experience with SEMRUSH, BrightEdge, and similar SEO tools.

Experience with Salesforce and email integration.

Core Skills:

Strong editorial mindset with a deep understanding of core audience consumption behavior.

Detail-oriented multitasker with exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.

Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, data privacy regulations, and CAN-SPAM compliance.

Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.

First 30 Days: Deep Dive & Assess

Immerse yourself in Mersive’s content strategy, processes, and tools. Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current content performance, identifying gaps and opportunities for growth. Focus on building strong, collaborative relationships with your team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Mersive’s vision of driving innovation in collaboration technology.

Around 60 Days: Refine & Execute

Leverage insights from your initial assessment to refine the content strategy, prioritizing initiatives that align with Mersive’s goals. Implement content optimizations that enhance SEO, user experience, and brand engagement. Ensure your efforts contribute to Mersive’s mission of redefining how people connect and collaborate.

By 90 Days: Lead with Innovation

Take full ownership of the content marketing function, driving forward Mersive’s commitment to innovation. Experiment boldly with content creation and distribution, pushing boundaries to develop an impactful long-term content roadmap and strategy that supports Mersive’s goal of shaping the future of collaboration.
