Procurement and Marketing of Groundnuts in the National and International market. Marketing of other agriculture commodities. Trading includes forex hedging and execution.Requirements
Grade 12 certificateAdvanced Diploma / BTech Degree / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or appropriate field of study4 years relevant experienceExperience in the agricultural industry: > 3 yearKnowledge of Groundnuts and other Agricultural Commodity hedging will reserve as recommendationForex trading experience - Experience of commodity and exchange rate trading will be a recommendationCode 8 Driver's License and own vehicleWilling to travel dailyClear Criminal RecordMedically fitDuties and Responsibilities
Preparation of Purchasing and Marketing Plan for groundnuts and other agricultural International and national agricultural commodities;Conclude purchase and sale contracts and ensure that contract execution and administration is done according to procedure and contract terms.Management of International customer service and relationships.Manage relationships with local buyers.Represent GWK at International congresses and trade fairs;Building GWK Trading brand;Identify opportunities or develop channels for purchase or sale of commoditiesHedging of exchange rate and execution of exchange rate policy and associated position reportManage creditors and debtors;Manage Contract Execution and logisticsPreparation of "deal sheet" and reconciliation of budgeted profit against actual profit;Manage logistics supply chain of internationally traded commodities.Ensure compliance with all the relevant legislation.Execute departmental strategic plansIdentify new business opportunitiesEnsure competitive products and services.Skills
