R011369The Best Players Need the Best People.This position is responsible for conceptualizing, creating and distributing compelling content to drive engagement, traffic, conversation and attention around PGA TOUR websites, apps, voice-activated devices, newsletters and other emerging platforms.QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required; journalism or communications preferredThree years’ experience in developing content for use on websites and social media platformsPrior experience updating and maintaining brand, league, team or other corporate platformsKnowledge of digital media including content creating, best practices, success metrics and emerging platformsProficiency in HTML and PhotoshopAbility to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure in a team environmentStrong writing and editing skills including grammar, style and spellingKnowledge and proficiency of AP StylebookCommitment to high-quality work product that meets brand and fan standardsDesign, photo and video editing skills a plusProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft programsBackground in golf preferred; strong interest in golf requiredRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Develop, edit and program content for use on PGA TOUR websites, apps, newsletters and other emerging platformsRespond to breaking news promptly, ensuring all platforms are up to date on trending conversationsDevelop weekly newsletters from conceptualization to completionCurate news and video pages within the app with the most relevant contentEnsure headlines, URLs and titles are optimized for SEOProactively collaborate with writers and other content creators to deliver engaging and immersive content across platformsMaintain websites and arenas, including checking of links and updating contentAdhere to brand standards and established voice across platformsParticipate in regular creative brainstorming and pitch sessionsUtilize available data to make or adjust programming decisions across platformsAdditional Job Description

Execute content on behalf of marketing and/or sales initiativesAdapt to changing editorial conditions in a short time frameSpecial projects or other duties as assigned
