9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST (Monday - Friday)

The Kitchen Drafter and Designer is responsible for creating detailed designs and plans for kitchen spaces that meet clients' functional and aesthetic needs. This role involves working closely with clients, contractors, and the design team to ensure that all aspects of the kitchen design, from layout to materials, are executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, proficiency in design software, and a passion for creating beautiful, functional kitchens.Key Responsibilities:

Design and Drafting:Create detailed kitchen designs and layouts using Compusoft Winner Design Software or CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design).Develop 2D and 3D renderings to help clients visualize their new kitchen space.Design cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and other kitchen elements that align with the client’s vision and needs.Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Client Collaboration:Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.Present design concepts and revisions to clients, incorporating their feedback into the final design.Provide expert advice on material selection, color schemes, and finishes that align with the overall design aesthetic.Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the design process.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:Use design software to create accurate, detailed drawings and renderings.Stay updated on the latest trends in kitchen design, materials, and technologies.Understand the practical aspects of kitchen design, such as ergonomics, workflow, and space optimization.Ensure that all designs are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

Quality Control and Compliance:Review and revise designs to meet quality standards and client expectations.Ensure that all designs adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements if applicable.Conduct site visits to verify that the construction aligns with design plans and make adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in kitchen design and drafting, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Proficiency in Compusoft Winner Design Software.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, 2020 Design, SketchUp) and design tools.Strong understanding of kitchen design principles, materials, and construction methods.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs.
