WSTM/WSTQ/WTVH is looking for a dynamic full-time Anchor with producing skills and the opportunity to be a leading ‘face’ of our WTVH-CBS 5 brand.
In addition to being an outstanding journalist with a great personality, you need to be a team leader. Our anchors are leaders who participate in the planning of our shows and produce content regularly. A competitive passion to win and openness to innovation and growing a brand and presence on all digital platforms is mandatory! Our winning candidate will be someone who embraces our ‘digital first’ approach and someone who uses social media effectively to consistently engage with the audience. Collaboration is a big part of this role!The ideal candidate will have:Strong Leadership skillsSmooth/pleasant deliveryStrong writing skills and news judgmentSharp video shooting and editing skillsExemplary communication skillsRequirements and Qualifications:You must have at least some on-air experienceLive commercial television experience is a mustStrong "in-the-field and live" skillsExceptional written communications skills using a conversational writing styleStrong editorial judgment and a proven ethical foundationWhile applying online, please include a link to your online demo reelFinal compensation range for this role is $19.23 - $23.08 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
