Position:

Product Marketing Manager

Evolution Power Tools’ Chicago Office is in search of a Product Marketing Manager to spearhead all of our product marketing efforts in North America. This role requires a deep understanding and experience within the Power and/or Hand Tool Market, the everyday challenges that tool users face, and marketing best practices including but not limited to Market Sizing, New Product Development (NPD), Competitive Analysis, and Consumer Research.

This is a new role that provides a high-visibility opportunity to influence the development, commercialization, and success of our existing range of Power Tools as well as help us determine the future of Power Tools! This position requires close collaboration with Sales Channel Leaders, Marketers, and NPD designers and engineers, providing you with a massive opportunity to impact Evolution, North America, and the Power Tool Industry.

Objectives of this role:

Become the Product Evangelist for Evolution North America by:

Using empirically-sound Market Research to identify the highest potential Power Tool opportunities.

Collaborating with the Marketing Manager to activate and achieve maximum success for products.

Working with Sales Channel Leaders to develop marketing plans for existing products and identify new market opportunities.

Collaborating with our NPD team to identify, design, develop, and commercialize Power Tools.

Develop Intelligent and thorough Market Sizing and Product Forecasting:

Examining market potential for existing product ranges.

Identifying and estimating new markets and products.

Responsibilities:

Shepherd the NPD process for the Sales and Marketing teams:

Own the NPD timeline and deliverables.

Identify New Product Opportunities and share preliminary Market Size information.

Lead and coordinate all Product Launch efforts.

Conduct Post-mortem for each product launch.

Skills and qualifications:

5-7 years demonstrated Product Marketing and/or New Product Development experience within the Hand or Power Tools industry.

Strong written, verbal, and leadership skills.

Deep understanding of Hand or Power Tool market trends and product lifecycles.

Experience implementing Marketing best practices.

Desire for continual personal and professional growth.

Demonstrated success leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Reporting:

Jobholder reports directly to the CEO of North America.

Location:

This role is based in our office in the River West neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Occasional travel to International offices may be requested.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time Hybrid role (3 Days in-office, 2 Days Work-from-home) with standard working hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M CST.
