This role will have oversight for Filtration operations in Westborough, Massachusetts and Newquay, United Kingdom. These facilities comprise 500+ associates in total supporting all Filtration manufacturing operations across Cytiva. This includes functions such as Raw Material handling, Quality Control, wastewater treatment, Maintenance, System Support, Business Continuity, and Danaher Business Systems (DBS) driven Process Improvement.Recognized as a senior leader, the Senior Director, Media Operations will lead a sophisticated manufacturing operation, regularly influencing senior management and developing/implementing system-wide strategic business plans for the manufacturing plant. This leader will champion our plant’s culture, embodying core values of safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost-efficiency, and employee engagement. This position is an onsite role located in Pensacola. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.What you’ll do:Drive manufacturing team towards execution of Business Goals using DBS with tools such as Lean Manufacturing methodology, daily management, and Problem-Solving Process (PSP).Ensure sufficient capacity exists to achieve customer commitments per the operating plan and execute on the breakthrough objectives developed by the business in the Hoshin Kanri model.Improve fulfillment and other customer metrics while delivering the financial targets for the sites.Nurture and develop talent within the organization creating pathways for career growth and ensuring a robust leadership pipeline.Foster a workplace culture that promotes associates’ satisfaction, motivation, and long-term commitment.Drive Product Quality, Lean, and e-Manufacturing so that internal business metrics are met.Ensure a safe work environment and follow existing laws/regulations using Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) and other Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) related tools.Who you are:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Sciences or Business; Master’s Degree preferred.A leader with 15+ years’ experience with proven leadership in manufacturing operations or supply chain. Membrane/Filtration Manufacturing experience is a plus.Exceptional Danaher Business Systems (DBS) maturity in methodologies enabling manufacturing operations and leadership effectiveness.Creates energy to deliver company goals through practical
