Overview

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for collecting and managing resort operating information, providing written content, and collaborating in the website CMS. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to organize and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of social channels and possess computer skills. This is an on-site position.This position requires 32 hours a week including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Communicate with Operations teams to collect accurate snow accumulation data, plus grooming and trail info.Write and post updates to Mountain Report content page twice daily–at a minimum.Update website to reflect operating plans to set clear expectations for guests. Respond to changes in operations with updates to website as needed.Write and send Morning Report to internal resort teams and Afternoon Report email to external subscribers.Collaborate with the Communications Manager in producing on-brand content that engages digital audience.Work in digital asset management system to ensure assets adherence to resort best practices.Assist department managers with coordinating copy and image assets.Assist with posting and responding on social media channels as needed.Perform other duties as assigned, including job sharing during peak periods.RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Loon guests at all times.Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.Report accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.Drive in accordance with the law and Loon Mountain policies.Ski or snowboard at an intermediate or advanced ability level.Ski or snowboard within the suggested routes while on the clock unless asked otherwise by immediate supervisor.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
