This role will function as a core member of an integrated product team, comprising design, product management, and engineering. They will work on discovery, building requirements, prototyping, testing, and launching a core workflow product. This role will report to a Lead Product Designer.What will you be doing?Work with other members of the design team to write research scripts, execute research projects, interview customers, read feedback, analyze and present research synthesis.Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand project requirements.Use visualizations to help the team understand complex problems, systems, solutions and more.Create multiple solutions to problems especially in complex areas where there are clear advantages and tradeoffs to consider.Quickly understand and adapt to key design and product team processes.Participate in weekly design team critiques.Produce Wireframes And High-fidelity PrototypesFor use in evaluative research projects,As a hand-off to development teams,To help define key usability or interaction requirements.What we are Looking forWorking knowledge of design disciplines (user-centered design, layout, information architecture, typography/layout, UX patterns).Proficiency in Figma; experience working with a design system, advanced use of components, auto layout and other Figma features.Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML5 and CSS3).Knowledge and ability with native mobile design is a plus.Collaborative working style.Excellent communication skills.Able to receive and incorporate feedback from peers as well as stakeholders; provides constructive criticism.Customer focused: You're always looking for ways to know more about your users including both qualitative and quantitative methods for gathering data and feedback.Organized: can deliver to expectations with little intervention.Listens, gets clarification, and takes action where necessary; Asks questions to help clarify ambiguity; Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.What will make you stand out?Previous experience within the eCommerce or Shipping software industry.The TechFigmausertesting.com or other testing/prototyping tools.Required Education And/or ExperienceBachelor's degree in Art, Design, HCL, UX or related field, or equivalent years’ experience.Experience as a product manager or UI designer, or UX designer at a SaaS company or product design firm.What do we offer?Discount on your personal shipment orders via stamps.com and GlobalPost.Charitable donation matching!
