NLU is combining high tech with high-touch to deliver a responsive message to prospective students and active applicants and we are looking for a high performing Email Marketing Specialist to join the NLU marketing team. The Email Marketing Specialist will have a passion for student marketing that begins with students and their success. The candidate will support our University communications to prospective and current students. The successful candidate will develop the capabilities of the available marketing platforms, manage a multi-channel customer experience via email, SMS and Chatbot, and collaborate with the technology, creative, and content teams to develop successful messaging, templates, landing pages, and campaign flow. Critical to success will be a focus on understanding the student persona and an ability to increase engagement through consistent and comprehensive messaging to students for our program.Essential Responsibilities

Execute and drive campaigns that align with our consumer lifecycle contact strategies while owning the associated email planning, design, coding, testing, reporting, analysis, and database management responsibilities.Receive content from a variety of stakeholders within the organization including Enrollment Services, Student Success, and marketing teams, and execute ad-hoc and automated email marketing initiatives utilizing Pardot Account Engagement (including coding, dynamic content, segmentation, etc.).Utilize Salesforce CRM and Pardot Account Engagement email marketing system to build campaign distribution lists that support email segmentation and automated email tactics.Perform copy writing/QA/proofreading/testing/editing, scheduling/deployment, and campaign analysis. We pride ourselves on quality and accuracy in all our communications.Adhere to email and SMS marketing best practices and ensure marketing messages are conveyed clearly and customer-focused, using persuasive calls-to-action, proper form and templates, message relevancy to audiences and segments, and responsive design.Initiate email test scenarios and identify criteria to determine under which circumstances such testing should take place; create and maintain test/benchmark database.Assess ROI and scalability of local and national email marketing campaigns; make recommendations based on results.Utilize Salesforce, Mogli SMS and Mainstay Chatbot systems to build text messaging campaigns.Qualifications

Bachelor degree, highly preferred.

May be willing to accept Associate or other degree depending on level of experience and expertise in the field (significant work experience in Marketing Technology required for those applying without a bachelor's degree).Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce and Pardot as well as experience with SMS, Telephonic and ChatBot configurations and management.Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing data integration and analysis.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google tools (i.e. Excel, Word, Sheets, etc.).Proven delivery of solutions for MarTech Stack including components for content management/delivery, web analytics, search engine, digital asset management, digital events and social media integration.Strong understanding of marketing technologies, data management, and integration principles including Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Hubspot, Tradedesk, and other leading martech SaaS solutions.Relationship Building and Networking:

Developing and managing relationships with external suppliers and partners, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely delivery of services and solutions.Time Management:

Prioritizes tasks and manages time to ensure that deadlines are met. Plans his or her time and sticks to those plans. Prevents or manages interruptions until the highest priority tasks are accomplished.Communication/Interpersonal:

Communicates effectively and appropriately. Uses good judgment as to what to communicate to whom as well as the best way to get that accomplished.
