Your impact will reach far beyond our clients and our business to set new standards for the whole industry.As part of the Institutional Investor Group – Customer Experience UX Team, you’ll join a group of UX specialists with a growth mindset working on products that improve people’s financial wellness. Beyond working with an amazing group of strategists, researchers, designers and content writers–all who have hybrid/diverse backgrounds, you’ll be able to collaboratively define processes and set best practices while enjoying a great team culture and supportive leadership. You’ll also be joining a team that, in the words of one of its’ members, “isa bunch of nerdy sweethearts who care about making great products using human-centered design methods.” In this role, you will:

Provide mid to senior level interface (UI) design services, including the crafting of highly useful, accessible, and usable experiencesLeverage creativity, empathy, and problem-solving abilities to achieve both business and user goalsHave a keen eye for details and appreciation for consistencyTake ownership of key flows involving discovery, design, prototyping and handoff to devCreate prototypes for testing and communication with teammatesBe flexible in your design approachEmbrace a challenge and come up with new ways of addressing challenges quicklyExplore and define interaction design detailsAppreciate the value in research and consider practical constraintsIterate on designs based on feedback from clientsPresent designs, field critique, and update experiences as neededUtilize technical knowledge to produce achievable and efficient solutionsDesign with accessibility best practicesParticipate in special projects and performs other duties as assignedWhat it takes:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent training and experienceMinimum of 5 years of industry/field-specific experience — User Experience Design, User Interface Design, Product Design and working in an agile environmentSpecial Factors: Portfolio or work samples required. This role is part of our hybrid work model with Tuesdays - Thursdays in our offices to foster collaboration and relationships. On Mondays and Fridays, our crew will have the option to work remotely, or continue working from one of our offices in Malvern PA or Charlotte NC. Vanguard offers both renter and homeowner relocation packages to a Vanguard area office of your choice for this role. Special Factors
