Instructional Designer . In this pivotal role, you support the Director of L&D in shaping the onboarding, education and development of research, clinical, and administrative professionals throughout the entire organization.This role will be responsible for reviewing learning paths and determining what methods should be used to deliver training. This role will work closely with both the Director of Learning and Development and organizational SMEs to design and develop learning materials and experiences, as well as stay on top of the latest instructional design theories, trends, practices, and methods ensuring the highest standards of excellence.Title:

Chandler, AZ -- Hybrid role w/travel preferred // open to Remote-USEssential job functions/duties:Design, create, and maintain written training curriculum, including training course guides, quick reference guides, and additional supporting materials.Design, create, and maintain video training content, including scripts, voiceover files, and related content.Design and create engaging learning activities that enhance the learning process and retention for blended learning, including in-person, e-learning and skill courses for both synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities.Act as a liaison between learners and stakeholders ensuring continuous project improvements and other learning initiatives directed from the L&D department are clearly communicated between the teams.Maintain content, users, assignments, and reports within a Learning Management System (LMS).Work with subject matter experts to fully understand content and identify target audience’s training needs and gaps in current curriculum.Apply latest instructional design theories, trends, practices, and methods.Assist the Director of L&D with design and development of dynamic assessments for all courses to determine learner’s knowledge level.Take full ownership of assigned projects, including milestone tracking and stakeholder communication.Knowledge/Skills/Education Required:BS/BA degree in instructional design or equivalent experience/certifications required.Minimum of 4+ years of proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional design software with a strong portfolio.Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models.Visual design skills (SnagIt, Photoshop) and ability to storyboard.Ability to write and proofread effective copy, instructional text, and scripts.Expert skills in designing and recording instructional videos (Camtasia, Captivate, Storyline, etc.).Experience administering at least one Learning Management System.Demonstrated ability to collaborate well within a team environment.Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.Fully understand the job requirements and perform with minimal direction.Background in a high-growth Education startup, Healthcare company, or Patient Experience is a strong plus.Work environment:Clinic setting and Home Office -- this role is a Hybrid position and will require in-office collaboration visits 4-6 times per year.Able to lift at least 10 lbs.Able to stand for long periods.Able to sit for long periods.Able to type for long periods.Health, Dental, Vision (with HSA plans and employer contribution).3 weeks of PTO.Continuing Medical Education budget (CME) and necessary time off.5 Days Sick Time.7 Company Holidays + 2 Half-Days.401K with company 6% match.Short & Long Term Disability.Shared company vehicles for required travel.Interoffice travel will be required with use of company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.Work authorization/security clearance requirements:Must have valid documentation and authorization to work in the U.S.* Our company requires COVID-19 vaccinations for current and future employees and weekly testing for those with a religious/sincerely-held belief or medical accommodation.Affirmative Action/EEO statement:It is the policy of the Institute for Liver Health DBA Arizona Liver Health and Arizona Clinical Trials to provide equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
