Gannett’s B2B Marketing team is looking for Content Manage to join our growing team. Reporting into the Director of Marketing, this team member will support our ambitious vision of driving growth and retention of our b2b business.

The Content manager is responsible for creating marketing copy for all mediums and platforms, working closely with the marketing and creative teams, and using data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of writing.

Responsibilities

Create compelling and effective copy for marketing materials, such as website content, emails, case studies, white papers, and social media postsWork closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand the company’s brand and messaging, and create copy that aligns with the brandCollaborate with other departments, such as product and sales, to create cohesive marketing materialsStay up to date on industry trends and best practices in marketing copywritingConduct market and customer research to understand the target audience and create relevant and engaging copyEdit and proofread marketing materials to ensure accuracy and consistencyUse data and analytics to measure and report on the effectiveness of writing and the success of marketing materials, using metrics such as website traffic, email opens, and conversionsIdentify and resolve challenges and issues within the marketing copywriting processProvide training and support to team members on marketing copywriting best practices and toolsContribute to the development and continuous improvement of the company’s marketing copywriting process

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in marketing copywriting or a related fieldStrong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of writing samplesFamiliarity with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google AnalyticsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a teamKnowledge of the company’s target audience and goalsAbility to conduct market and customer research to create relevant and engaging copyStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsTime management and organizational skillsFlexibility and adaptability to changeA desire to learn and grow in the marketing copywriting fieldBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $43,000and $81,000. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable
