Overview:The Merchandising & Marketing Analyst will report to the Product Manager or Assistant Product Manager and will be based in our Lenexa, KS Gear for Sports office. This role is a key contributor in delivering the HanesBrands' Full Potential plan. The deliverables for this role will focus on collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan and execute merchandise assortments while placing the consumer at the forefront of every decision.Responsibilities:

Offering strategy

Work with sales teams to gather data in support of offering strategy decision-making.As directed, conduct ad hoc competitor analysis/data gathering (e.g., in-store benchmarking of competitor shelf space, price points).

Garment/product design and development

Support tactical follow-ups to ensure execution of seasonal product calendar including sample ordering, tracking and organization as well as assisting in the development of go-to-market materials.Conduct analysis for item-level target margin decisions.Initial data entry for master style and program set-up.

Sell to the customer

Support merchandise and samples for sales meetings and photo shoots.Create sell-in sheets for key customers, as directed.Mail samples out to customers.

Plan production/produce the range

Enter merchandise and assortment information into planning systems/style master.Support inventory analysis.

Sell to the consumer

Support analysis of consumer needs, preferences, and shopping behaviors.

Complies with HBI attendance policy; reliable, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.Regularly demonstrates HBI Vision & Values.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.Intermediate computer knowledge required and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience using a Mac computer.Illustrator and Adobe experience preferred.0-2 years of merchandise planning, marketing, analytics, or project management preferred.Experience and focus on merchandising as a consumer advocate.Experience in collaborating and partnering cross-functionally to drive the business.Experience in contributing to analysis of business opportunities; specifically, analysis, understanding, and contributing to learnings to support consistent results.Exceptional problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills are a must.Analytical skills and conceptual creative ability preferred.Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.Experience working on multiple projects and priorities.To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.EOE/AA: Minorities/Females/Veterans/DisabledOnly applicants requiring reasonable accommodation for any part of the application and hiring process should contact us directly:Telephone: 877.999.5553Email: HBI_TA@hanes.comNearest Major Market:
