Position Overview:Our client is looking for an Instructional Designer to help shape the learning experiences in their organization. They are looking for someone with expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and interactive technologies used to drive the creation of effective training programs.

Requirements:Experience with instructional design and curriculum developmentProficiency in e-Learning tools and technologiesFamiliarity with SCORM, cmi5, and xAPI standards for learning content interoperabilityKnowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS)Storyline experience

Preferred Experience:Experience in highly detailed Virtual RealityGraphic design knowledgeProduct UX design skillsExperience in Unity3D or Unreal Engine based training environmentsBasic scripting knowledge

Day to Day Responsibilities:Utilize contemporary methods of learning theory, social and mobile learning, and curriculum design to create and improve e-learning, instructor-led, and blended education.Coordinate instructional design projects from inception to completion.Collaborate with subject matter experts, management, trainers, and e-Learning specialists.Create new training programs from scratch, incorporating learning theory and identifying appropriate training media and methodologies.Design courses for traditional classroom settings, online classrooms, self-paced online modules, or blended approaches.User testing and assessment of learning materials.Partner with Quality and Operations to assess content effectiveness, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and monitor completion, comprehension, and retention.Utilize advanced instructional models to design learning experiences that promote practice, retention, and application of new skills and knowledge.
