The Instructional Designer Specialist will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing instructional content and training programs. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and educational theory to produce effective and engaging learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, a passion for education, and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning objectives to create effective instructional strategies and content.Utilize instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather content requirements and ensure alignment with learning goals.Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes to visualize and test instructional content.Implement and utilize various multimedia tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience (e.g., video, audio, interactive elements).Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of instructional materials through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making revisions as needed.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in instructional design and e-learning.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Proven experience in instructional design, including developing e-learning content and training programs.Proficiency in instructional design software and tools specifically Articulate Storyline.Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional design models, and educational technologies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging instructional materials.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and improve instructional content.Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is required.

$70,000 - $90,000 a year
