The Associate Director/SR Associate Director will lead the strategy for connecting all digital channels for the consumer and professional side of the pet business and will ensure one source of truth for analytics for customer and consumer journey touchpoints. In the rapidly growing and evolving global digital marketing landscape, Digital Marketing has become an important capability growth area for BIAH. The AD/SR AD, Digital Marketing plays a critical role within the US Pet Vet Marketing team as well as the broader marketing organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for ongoing implementation of the Digital Marketing strategy integrating consumer and customer needs to deliver against short and long-term growth opportunities; including Business Reviews, Strategic Plans and Annual Operating Plans.

Builds a strong network with customers and digital partners to champion the Digital marketing capability to build trust, understand key business drivers and act with urgency against priorities.

Effectively supports strong execution against category plans to meet key business targets (net sales, incidence, engagement).

Manages and develops relationships with key agency partners in furtherance of communication, creative and innovation objectives.

Co-develops additional partnership opportunities.

Leads the development of system tools, training and processes and support the roll-out of sales tools.

Coordinates the activity of internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of digital marketing programs and plans.

Provides ongoing reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership team.

Through social media, web, and email, leads key BIAH's brands' presence and evolution in digital, implementing best practices and utilizing data and insights for continued evolution.

Leverages brand/category followers and industry for insights, content, ideas and innovation.

Creates and fosters brand advocates across all digital and social platforms (current and emerging).

Understands digital platforms and upcoming trends with ability to foster into tangible action for brands.

Leverages brand and consumer insights to engage and foster stronger consumer engagement across digital platforms.

Works closely with media agency to develop and execute digital paid media strategies and campaigns.

Leads project-based marketing initiatives such as sweepstakes, influencer and engagement campaigns.

Manages day-to-day communications with internal teams and agency partners.

Engages across cross-functional partners Brand, PR, Legal & Regulatory, Branding & Content, IT, etc.

Works closely with broader Digital Marketing Team to help instate industry best practices.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Effectively coaches, develops and monitors team members' performance including MAG plans, timely feedback.

Identifies performance challenges, creates action plans and monitors effectiveness of action plans.

Requirements

Associate Director :

Bachelor's degree

Minimum seven (7+) years' experience in digital marketing, ideally consumer focused marketing.

SR Associate Director :

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 8 years of experience in consumer marketing, B2B marketing or digital marketing/advertising. In lieu of a degree, 12 years of equivalent relevant work experience

Associate Director or SR Associate Director

Paid Digital and Social Media strategies including analytics

Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or Adobe)

Email marketing and Execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns

Lead Nurturing/Acquisition Marketing and Audience Development

Digital Campaign mapping and tracking

Ability to travel 10% (overnight travel required).

Eligibility Requirements :

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).

Must be 18 years of age or older.
