Our client is a cryogenic and vacuum equipment designer, manufacturer and supplier to national laboratories, defense and launch facilities. Our client is seeking a highly qualified person to fill the role of Drafter/Designer. This is a six month contract to hire position.Responsibilities:
Design/Draft cryogenic piping and process equipmentCreate shop drawings from modelsProvide manufacturing supportDesign and development of engineered productsAnalyze and suggest design improvements in existing productsProvide technical assistance to customers and prospectsOther duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:
Applicable technical degree (experience in a similar professional position will be considered in lieu of a degree)Familiarity with ASME B&PV Code and B31.3 Pipe CodeCAD skills consisting of Autodesk product suite and Solid Modeling using InventorDetail oriented with excellent organizational skills and excellent verbal/written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office suite of productsAbility to work effectively with other departments, external partners, and customers with minimal supervision
