Overview

Part of the Product & Merchandising team, you are the driving force behind bringing our products to market. You will be an expert in understanding customer needs and delivering the right products to the right people. Keeping a close eye on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's go-to-market strategy and ensuring that our products remain customer-centric.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute product development activities partnering with R&D, Insights, Brand, Channel and other key stakeholders to enable in-market success.Transform consumer/customer insights into compelling product opportunities.Participate in the development of the product strategy roadmaps for assigned product category.Drive initiatives (e.g., cost savings, compliance with regulations) that allow Lixil to realize growth and manufacturing efficiencies without sacrificing quality, or performance.Develop, implement and maintain standardized processes for all marketing activities associated with product development, commercialization, and in-market performance, i.e. develop “center of excellence” for marketing processes.Category expertise: respond to internal and external needs for existing and new products. Leverage expertise to find new opportunities and ways to continuously improve.Partner with Merchandising on the annual SKU Rationalization Process; ultimately supporting implementation of all changes.Required5 years’ experience in Product Marketing.Curiosity that drives learning and expertise in our consumer, customer and product category.Solution oriented, able to utilize continuous improvement methodologies to problem solve.Comfortable with ambiguity, and able to use data and insight to make recommendations and decisions.Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills (both written & verbal).Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and influence constituents at all levels.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly.Preferred5-8 years of relevant work experience.Kitchen & Bath experience a plus.Experience within the building products industry (plumbing products a strong plus) or product management.Experience working for a Global Company / in a Global role.Based in NJ with access to Piscataway R&D center when needed.Experience working with wholesale and/or retail/big box customers preferred.

Qualifications

In this product management role, the incumbent will be responsible for all product marketing activities associated with the assigned product category for all brands.

Hiring Range

The Hiring Salary Range for this position is

$88,000.00-142,000.00

annually.(Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)Other Compensation (if applicable):

This role will be eligible to participate in the annual Short Term Incentive plan.
