The incumbent coordinates efforts with the executive team to meet the academic and organizational needs of students pre-matriculated until graduation of programs within FDU Health. Responsibilities include conducting needs analysis; interviewing and counseling students and families concerning the admissions process; recruitment, marketing, evaluating candidates; providing support for various student activities and community outreach; evaluating credentials and learning potential of applicants; program planning and implementation; assessing and researching trends; overseeing financial aid; managing computerized data; supervising admissions staff; and performing general administrative duties.This position is responsible for institutional assessment efforts for FDU Health in compliance with regional and professional accreditation standards. Responsibilities include assisting in accreditation efforts with faculty to enhance the collection, analysis, and processing of data relevant to evaluating programmatic successes and challenges within admissions and marketing. This position is a member of the Executive Leadership team for the School.Required Qualifications:Master’s degree required in a related field of study, with an advanced degree preferred.Prior experience in an academic environment working directly with students, faculty, and administration including counseling, recruitment and admissions activities, and/or programming preferred.Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with basic computer applications for both PC and MAC and database management.Ability to handle multiple priorities, excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.Familiarity with social media platforms.Evening and weekend hours are required to accommodate the needs of students and provide services during peak periods.Valid driver’s license, accessibility to transportation, and ability to travel locally. Must have an acceptable driving record in accordance with the university’s Motor Vehicle policy. A MVC check will be required at the time of hire and thereafter as deemed appropriate by the university. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the MVC check.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
