We are seeking an experienced part-time UX designer to improve engagement of our wind turbine health monitoring analytics software product. You will play a crucial role bridging the gap between technical content and ensuring it’s consumable for a range of audiences. The ideal candidate will have a background in designing for technical companies conveying engineering content and be familiar with the technology in monitoring tools for the industrial space with a preference towards energy companies.Job responsibilities

Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with product and tech teams to improve customer experience and engagement for health monitoring software.Create a holistic experience for end users that feels intuitive and familiar that communicates value to customers driving up portal usage.Prototyping for evaluation and testing of user experience.Participate in customer feedback sessions and use knowledge of historical and current renewable market or engineering applications when designing and executing.Develop concepts in coordination with the software team by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.Recommend strategic direction into design within an established brand identity.Minimum qualifications

Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe (or similar) to convey mock ups for customer review and internal execution.Ability to collaborate with people at all levels and with multiple-office/region teams.Previous experience in handling design to promote customer engagement and understanding.Strong attention to detail and integrating customer mindset.Preferred qualifications

The ideal candidate will have one or more of the following:Knowledge of wind plant operations or similar engineering applications.Understanding of JSON, Vue.js.Bachelor's degree in UX, Graphic Design or related field.WindESCo has established a progressive workplace that is collaborative and team focused.
