ROMTech is seeking a skilled
Graphics Designer
to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating visually appealing designs, wireframes, and mockups using tools such as Photoshop and Adobe XD. This role will have a strong emphasis on web page wireframing and involves translating conceptual ideas into creative visual assets that enhance the user experience across digital platforms. The Graphics Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including web developers, and product managers, to deliver engaging and cohesive designs. In this role, you would be designing cutting-edge application interfaces for patients and physicians.This is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Software Development Manager. This position would ideally sit onsite at our headquarters in Brookfield CT, for the right candidate we would consider hybrid and/or remote.Responsibilities:Create visually appealing and user-friendly designs for web pages, mobile apps, and other digital platforms.Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements.Utilize design tools such as Photoshop and Adobe XD to bring creative concepts to life.Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques into projects.Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across various projects.Potentially collaborate with the marketing creative team to ensure branding and design consistency between all of our products and services.Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop and Adobe XD as well as familiarity with Design & Illustrator.Strong understanding of user experience principles and design best practices.Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team.Attention to detail and a creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.Up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies is a plus.Requirements:5+ years expertise in creating visually appealing designs, wireframes, and mockups using tools like Photoshop and Adobe XD.Proven experience as a Graphics Designer with a portfolio showcasing web design and wireframing projects.If this sounds like an exciting opportunity to embark in the next chapter of your career, please respond and include:A cover letter detailing why you are an ideal fit for this jobCandidates who send resumes without the requested cover letter will not be considered.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
