EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor's degree in digital media, marketing, communications, business, or a related field

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Three (3) or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.

FUNCTIONS:

Develop and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.

Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g., website, blogs, press releases and podcasts).

Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.

Work with marketing team to ensure content is informative and appealing.

Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).

Manage and oversee social media content and accounts.

Manage end-to-end digital projects.

Monitor ROI and KPIs for the success of social media content and campaigns.

Use various social media tools, including Meltwater.

Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.

Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals.

Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Communication teams to ensure brand consistency.

Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.

Oversee social media accounts' design (i.e., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout).

Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Hands on experience in content management

Excellent copywriting skills

Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)

Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics

Knowledge of online marketing channels

Familiarity with web design

Experience working with content management systems such as Meltwater and Marketo

Proficient with media editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite

Excellent communication skills

Analytical and multitasking skills

BS/BA degree in digital media, marketing, or relevant field
