General Responsibilities
Create an unforgettable and entertaining experience for fans during all home games.
Work closely with athletics staff to ensure proper execution of pre-game and in-game entertainment and game management elements, including but not limited to emergency announcements, safety protocols, contests and promotions, special recognitions, sponsorship fulfillment, and team introduction.
Collaborate with a diverse crew to ensure proper delivery of elements including game producer, marketing interns, audio staff, etc.
Familiarity with the team roster for assigned sports prior to the season.
Ability to entertain while delivering important information in tight timelines, with smooth transitions between elements.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and remain calm and on-brand in all situations.
Confidence in ad-libbing and reacting to crowd/contestant energy.
Desired Qualifications
Strong vocal talent.
Experience announcing athletic events at the collegiate, high school, or professional level.
Comprehensive knowledge of the assigned sport and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends required) and attend all home games for respective sports, tournaments, and possible championship events.
Highly motivated, creative, self-starter with excellent verbal communication skills and a professional approach to game days.
Ability to take constructive feedback and direction.
Pay and Terms
Compensation will be on a per game basis. Rate to be determined based on sport and will be shared prior to the start of the season.
