Department of Athletics – MarketingCoordinates marketing efforts for assigned sports, including developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans, assisting with advertising campaigns, in-game atmosphere and promotional budgets. Assists with marketing, promotions and game day operations for football and special events. Manages marketing of selected Olympic Sports. Assists in selected areas of media planning, production, advertising, and coordination of video boards.

Assists with sponsorships and renewal of trade accounts. Coordinates with sales staff to implement contract fulfillment of promotional elements, and assists with identifying new promotional opportunities and inventory, sponsorship opportunities and revenue streams.

Assists with oversight of marketing assistants and student interns.

Designs and develops graphics for use on the department’s official website, social media channels, marketing emails and publications that are viewed by 100,000’s of FSU fans and helps generate new revenue. Creates Infographics for use on-line, socially, with media members and national broadcast TV. Generates content during football games for use on-line and socially. Operates Team Infographics software.This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience, or high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
