Cullowhee, North Carolina - The Western Carolina University Intercollegiate Athletic Department is accepting applications for a 2024-2025 Ticketing / Marketing Assistant. This is an 11-month, paid position, with primary roles in assisting in generating ticket revenue, as well as ticketing and marketing operations. WCU Athletics is seeking a highly motivated individual looking for experience in ticket operations, sales, and marketing. This position will introduce an individual to all aspects of an NCAA Division I, Southern Conference athletic program.Primary Responsibilities:
Greet walk-up customers and answer ticket office phoneProcess reports in AudienceviewGenerate ticket revenue for football and basketballAssist Director of Marketing with group salesResponsible for helping with day-to-day ticket office needsAssist Director of Ticket Operations with gameday operationsAssist Director of Marketing with non-ticketed sportsManage and schedule student workers and apprenticesPrimary marketing contact for Women’s SoccerAssist marketing with football and fall sport operationsAssist and schedule mascot appearancesOther duties as assignedPosition will work 40 hours a week from August 1st - December 31st with some flexibility. Must have good communication skills, be reliable, and professional.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Previous experience working in Athletics.
