Senior Consumer Insights Researcher . As a Consumer Insights Researcher at Backbone, you'll be pivotal in understanding consumer behavior, preferences, and trends to drive actionable insights that influence our marketing strategies and overall business direction. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Sales, you'll help Backbone continue to provide unparalleled gaming experiences to our users.You will be integral in shaping our consumer insights roadmap, utilizing modern research methodologies and tools to ensure Backbone remains at the forefront of the mobile gaming market.Location:

Hybrid in SF Bay Area - one day per week in person at our Atherton office location.Responsibilities

Design and conduct comprehensive market research studies to gather consumer insights and identify emerging trends.Interpret complex data sets to generate actionable insights and recommendations for marketing strategies and product roadmaps.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate consumer insights into product development, marketing campaigns, and business strategies.Develop and manage a comprehensive consumer insights program, including surveys, focus groups, and other research methodologies.Present research findings to senior leadership and cross-functional teams to inform strategic decision-making.Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and best practices in market research to continuously improve Backbone's approach.Qualifications

5+ years of experience in market research, with a focus on consumer insights, preferably within the tech or gaming industry.Strong background in designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies like co-joints, maxdiffs, messaging testing, and pricing studies.Expertise in data analysis, including proficiency with statistical tools and software.Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.Previous experience with defining TAM, SAM, and SOM - current and adjacent customer segments.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Bonus Points
