The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns across the Gibson portfolio of brands. Reporting to the CRM Manager, the core duties of this role include owning the email calendar, building email campaigns end-to-end, running A/B tests, and tracking & reporting on KPIs.This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of email marketing best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience using email marketing to drive engagement and revenue, a keen eye for design, be data-driven, and have an eagerness to learn.Essential FunctionsWork closely with CRM Manager to develop email strategy and roadmapCampaign Development: Own end-to-end process of building and sending of emails, working cross-functionally to gather assets and ensure proper approvalsCopywriting: Write light copy as well as work with the editorial team to request copy for larger projectsContent Creation: Elevate the design and look of emails, working both individually and with the creative team as neededSegmentation & Personalization: Implement segmentation strategies to target specific audience segments and personalize email content for maximum relevance and engagement.A/B Testing: Conduct multivariate testing (subject lines, CTAs, content, etc.) to improve email engagement over timeAutomation: Work with CRM Manager to develop new automations and emails with an eye on retentionCollaboration: Work cross-functionally with brand, marketing, and direct-to-consumer teams to ensure alignment on brand stories and revenue goalsList Management: Maintain and grow email subscriber lists, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).Analyze campaign performance to continually make improvementsReport on sales revenue generated from email marketing effortsOther duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesCreative thinker with strong analytical skillsExperience running end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, creative, A/B testing, segmentation, personalization, and reportingExperience setting up email automationsRequired Education and Experience2-4 years in an email marketing role, preferably with a focus on e-commerceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferredExperience using Emarsys or a similar email marketing/CRM platformExperience using Monday.com or a similar project management toolBasic to intermediate skills with Adobe Photoshop (crop photos, create collages, export GIFs, etc.)Bonus points for having a basic understanding of HTML/CSS, but not requiredCreative mind that can bring new ideas to the table and has experience designing emails (either natively in an email builder or via graphic design)Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPersonal QualitiesA team player who works well with othersA basic knowledge and passion for guitars/the musical instrument industryFlexibility to adapt and pivot quickly when neededComfortable working on a small team and taking on key responsibilitiesTravel RequirementsThis position is office based and would require minimal travel (opportunities such as marketing conferences may arise but are not expected)Physical DemandsBasic physical stances and actions (sitting, standing, walking)We celebrate diversity and Gibson Brands, Inc is an
