Smith Entertainment Group is looking to hire an experienced Photographer/Editor for our broadcasts. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience shooting and editing in the world of sports. We are looking for an experienced storyteller who knows how to shoot for broadcast. You must be familiar with Sony cameras, specifically the FX3 and the FX6. You should be an expert in Adobe Premiere. Please include a reel of your work with your resume.We’re looking for a team player, someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has strong interpersonal skills. This individual will work closely with the producers for both the Utah Jazz and the new NHL team.This position is full-time and based in Salt Lake City, Utah.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
On-call availability to shoot stories, practice and post-practice interviews, and on game days: skate-around and in-game contentEdit high-quality video contentWork collaboratively within a team environmentIdeate concepts for varied platformsShoot and edit content for pregame, game, and postgame broadcastsSee project from pre to post productionAble to help in many areas of production when neededTag and log video contentKeep track of equipmentTake notes and execute in an on-time fashionExemplify the Smith Entertainment Group mission and values: transparency, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappyAccept other duties related to Smith Entertainment Group, as assignedProtect the reputation of the companyCOMPETENCIES:

2+ years as a Photographer and Editor, with expert-level knowledge of Sony camera equipment, and Adobe PremiereKnowledge of NHL and NBA is preferredBachelor’s Degree is preferredIdeal candidate will be an organized and efficient worker, used to juggling multiple projects at the same timeExcellent communication, prioritization, and time management skillsPosition will be based in Salt Lake City. Remote work (full or part-time) is not an option.Ability to work a flexible, event-based schedule that will include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hoursPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
