The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience editing in the world of sports. You must be an expert in Adobe Premiere and proficient in Adobe After Effects.We’re looking for a team player, someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has strong interpersonal skills. This individual will work closely with the producers for both the Utah Jazz and the new NHL team. Please include reel of your work with application.This position is full-time and based in Salt Lake City, Utah.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Edit high-quality video content- Work collaboratively within a team environment- Ideate concepts for varied platforms- Create content for pregame, game, and postgame broadcasts- See project from pre to post production- Able to help in many areas of production when needed- Tag and log video content- Keep track of equipment- Take notes and execute in an on-time fashion- Exemplify the Smith Entertainment Group mission and values: transparency, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy- Accept other duties related to Smith Entertainment Group, as assignedCOMPETENCIES:- Decision Quality- Drives Engagement-Manages Complexity- Manages ConflictQUALIFICATIONS:- 2+ years as a Video Editor, with expert-level knowledge of Adobe Premiere, knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop, Videography is a plus- Knowledge of NHL and NBA is preferred- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred- Ideal candidate will be an organized and efficient worker, used to juggling multiple projects at the same time- Excellent communication, prioritization, and time management skills- Position will be based in Salt Lake City.
