As the Head of Design, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of design at UDig, helping us to scale and elevate our solutions and team. You will lead the design practice in delivering exceptional user-centric solutions for clients, build a thriving design team, and forge strategic partnerships across the organization.Your Key Responsibilities:Lead the full lifecycle of design projects as a player-coach, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.Develop and oversee a 3-year digital design strategy aligned with company goals and client needs.Grow and coach a team of designers on high-quality work, design delivery approach, standards, and best practices in a collaborative environment.Champion user research and the user journey to bring strategic insights to clients and internal teams.Drive innovation by creating new design-focused specialty offerings at UDig.What You’ll Need:Core Competencies:Expertise leading design practices and influencing strategic decisions.Proven problem-solving skills, guiding the development of solutions for complex challenges.Ability to drive impactful projects and initiatives, achieving exceptional client satisfaction.Skills & Qualifications:7-10+ years of design experience with digital products, blending UI and UX.3-5+ years of experience leading and developing teams in a professional services organization.Previous consulting experience with a consulting firm or professional services firm.Excellent communication, executive presence, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in UX design process and hands-on experience producing high-fidelity graphic and UI designs in Figma.Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, computer science, or related field.Are You Ready to Make an Impact?At UDig, your contributions won't go unnoticed; they'll leave a lasting impression.
