Reporting Relationship: Reports to Manager – Creative MediaStatus: Full-time (Exempt)Position SummaryThe Carolina Panthers Producer, Creative Video will ideate, produce, and edit creative video to support the broader business needs of the Carolina Panthers. The candidate will serve as a source of creative leadership and video production expertise across a variety of disciplines, including organic digital content, branded content, and content to support various business units of the Panthers organization.Primary Responsibilities- Serve as both a video shooter and editor on a high variety of content pieces and video formats.- Serve as a video producer for an agency model of multi-media capable of serving the diverse content needs of the organization according to the ebbs and flows of the NFL calendar.- Manage concurrent video projects at the direction of Manager, Creative Media, treating various stakeholders with creative video needs as internal clients and delivering an excellent product and client experience.- At the direction of Manager, work to support the production needs of various partner Content Departments, serving as the Content team’s utility players, capable of adding technical prowess and creativity to a wide array of projects, including:- Working with the Game Presentation team to develop videos and graphics according to the needs of each home game.- Working with the Documentary and Features team, the Football News and Analysis Team, and the Social team to provide production and post-production support.- Participate in the ideation and production of custom branded video content according to the needs of various partners, driving revenue for the organization while upholding Panthers platform standards.- At the direction of Sr. Producer, support the creative video needs of players, providing creative media support that grows the Panthers brand through the brands of our players.- Lead the production of custom video projects to support the business, including projects in support of new stadium development, ownership priorities, and executive team priorities.- Draft scripts and storylines for creative video, and work alongside Sr. Producer to pitch concepts to key stakeholders.- Produce community interest video pieces, capturing the story of our team, personnel, and players in the community for the greater interest of the organization.- Serve as a gameday video shooters for all home games and select away games, gathering the footage needed for various multimedia projects. Shooting assignments will vary according to business need of the organization.Minimum Qualifications- Extensive experience shooting and editing sports- Demonstrated ability to tell story through video- Strong video shooting and cinematography experience- Strong video editing skills, with experience editing in Adobe environments- Ability and desire to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays is a must.
