We have a new, exciting and varied role in our Product and Supply team – one that will certainly appeal to a graduate or someone looking to gain commercial experience and make use of their creative flair and photographic and videography skills.
We’re in-housing some of our photo and video operations giving a great opportunity for someone with photography and videography skills (and preferably qualifications), to capture high quality content, helping us in promoting the products and services of all Interflora brands. As this is a new role, you will get to shape and influence the creative direction we take as well as inputting heavily into the technology and equipment you will be using. You’ll also manage the direction and sign off process during selected photoshoots.
You will get involved in a huge variety of projects, from commercial product photography to producing additional stills and video content for consumers and our community of florists as well as our colleagues. You will get the opportunity to manage our studio; taking charge of props, equipment and scheduling – so this is a great development opportunity for someone to take the next step into studio management. Responsibility for all post-production and retouching requirements is part of this role – so every day will be very different!
You’ll need to be an expert in your field and use your experience to create storyboards, final output and digital assets as necessary. Working closely with key stakeholders, such as the Brand, SEO, Florist Services and Trading teams.Required Experience
In order to perform well in the role, we would expect you to have:
A recognised photography or videography qualificationCommercial experience of product photography and video productionTechnical knowledge of photographic equipment and softwarePost production, video editing and retouching skillsAbility to multi-task and schedule multiple projects across photography, video production and post productionGood communication skills to work with a number of stakeholders on varying projects and taking a lead or supporting role at shootsIndependent working skills for shoot planning, post-production work and studio managementExperience of managing budgets (beneficial, but not essential)Experience of booking locations, models and other shoot resources (beneficial)Salary and Benefits
