We are seeking an architectural designer to contribute to design and production on project teams of 3-6 architects. .Required Qualifications and Skills:A degree in architecture from an accredited architecture program2-5 years of experience in architecture officesStrong graphic design skills and ability to research, problem solve, and iterate design solutionsWorking experience with Revit and Adobe SuiteStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsExperience preparing presentation drawings, renderings, and construction documents, particularly for Type V construction.Valued Qualifications and Skills:Experience working with California building codesExperience on community-serving projects for non-profit and public clientsSustainable design experience or proficiency in energy, daylighting or similar modeling/analysisProgress toward licensure and accreditations such as LEEDWork Style, Hours, Compensation and BenefitsWe strive to create a healthy work/life balance, a collaborative work environment and a diverse and vibrant work force. We understand the varied work/life challenges of our staff and remain flexible to address individual circumstances.We are looking for a fulltime employee who is available 40 hours per week.Office hours are 9am to 6pm (assuming one-hour lunch break).Our mandatory in-office workdays are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. All staff have the option of working remotely on Mondays and Fridays.Salary range is $65-85k, depending on skills, years of experience and work schedule.Benefits include healthcare, life insurance, 401k retirement plan, professional development allowance, licensure bonus, family leave supplement, and commuter benefits.We offer 15 days of personal time off and nine holidays annually.Fulltime employees can opt for an alternative work week option that allows an 8.5-hour workday in exchange for an additional 15 days off each year.How to ApplyInterested applicants, please send the following to
