To be considered, please provide a link to your portfolio, with your application.About The Role:Zeno is looking for a (dynamic/daring/dazzling) Designer Intern who can conceptualize and execute visual storytelling across projects ranging frombranding and identity design to digital presentations and RFPs to infographics and animated social media graphicsfor our amazing clients in fashion, food, technology, and science.As part of a collaborative team, you will actively contribute to actual client projects while learning under the direction of art directors and content strategists to develop cutting-edge design that not only exceeds expectations but over-delivers on the Unexpected.About You:Our ideal candidate will have a portfolio of work that demonstrates a unique point of view, killer design solutions, and a fearless personality. They will also have an understanding of digital and social media, websites, print collateral and advertising, presentations, brand identity, and video.Here's what you'll be doing:

Developing brand identity for client campaigns; designing and creating artwork for internal materials such as business cards, staff invites, etc.Day-to-day design work for planned and real-time campaigns using a mix of print, digital, social, and video.Designing and producing highly creative, impactful, PowerPoint presentations for new business pitches and client presentationsDesigning for client/agency collateral (social graphics/infographics/leaflets/invitations/brochures/coverage boards etc.)HTML design for invitations/newsletters (not essential)Here's what you'll need:

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects is a must.Knowledge of Mocha Pro, Cinema 4D, Houdini, Maya, DaVinci, Blender, Unreal etc. is a plusKnowledge of AI design tools like Midjourney,

Booth.ai , Adobe Firefly, etc., is a plus-plus.A love for PowerPoint, and if not love then a healthy respect for PowerPoint. Either way, you’ll need to be a PPT wizard and know your way around Microsoft Office Suite, as well.Ability to juggle multiple assignments and work in a high-pressure environment.Experience in creating wow-inducing digital content for various social media platforms, notably LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and InstagramAbility to thrive in a high-pressure environmentConfident when working autonomously and as part of a teamPersonable, excellent communication skills and professional attitudeReliable and capable of meeting aggressive deadlinesAvailability to work off-hours when needed for pitches and presentation design (doesn’t happen a lot, but it does happen).Previous internship or relevant experience, preferably in an agency settingA bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or broadcasting is preferred but not necessary with relevant industry experience.Demonstrated complete understanding of:Color theory & color relationshipsTypographic terms that identify type forms and the specifications required to refer to typographic settings (i.e., points, leading, picas, kerning, tracking, cap-height, x-height etc.)Perspective and space relationshipsPage composition and grid structuresAn interesting portfolio reflecting work across print, digital, and social media.You'll also have to:

Manage time and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands.Liaise with printers and relevant suppliers.Professionally and effectively communicate with clients, peers, and producers, demonstrating sound reasoning and judgment skills.Understand the concept behind creative work and how it achieves client and business goals.Have a sharp eye for layout consistency for format, and amazing attention to detail.Excel at visual storytelling, diverse graphic design, and content art direction.Pay rate: $18/hour USDAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
