Water/Wastewater Designer

Sustainability and innovation are at the heart of all of our sectors which, in North America include Advisory, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation, and Water.Mott MacDonald is seeking a highly motivated entry-level CAD Designer to join our growing Water/Wastewater team in Pensacola, FL.Responsibilities include:Collaborate with engineers and design team to advance and complete a variety of project types.

Develop plans for Water/Wastewater projectsDevelop grading plans, alignments, profiles, cross sections, paving layouts, striping layouts, traffic control plans, erosion control plans, and pipe networks.

Produce preliminary and final drawings in accordance with company and client standards.Calculate quantities for earthwork, asphalt, concrete, drainage structures, pipe, etc.Produce spreadsheets that summarize quantities and estimated unit costs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and prioritize tasks in a logical order.We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:High school graduate.0-2 years of experience within CAD programming.Understanding of developing and supporting civil engineering drawings.Experience with file conversion between multiple digital environments.Strong verbal communication and time management skills.
