Graphic Designer

About this roleUHSM is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate ideas visually. As a Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the marketing and technology teams to develop visually compelling and engaging materials that effectively convey the UHSM brand and mission.Onsite : This is a full-time, in-office position at our Santa Ana, CA location.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and produce various marketing materials such as brochures, banners, social media graphics, email templates, presentations, and website graphics, while adhering to UHSM's brand guidelines.Collaborate with the marketing and technology teams to develop creative concepts and execute design strategies for promotional campaigns and events.Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine and finalize designs.Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure designs remain fresh and competitive.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.Coordinate with external vendors and printers to ensure the accurate production of materials.Required Qualifications2+ years of professional digital & print graphic design experience.2+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design software.1+ years of experience with a design and visual communication platform (e.g., Canva).Able to work in our Santa Ana, CA office location.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degreeStrong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and styles.Excellent visual design skills, including layout, typography, color theory, illustration, and photo retouching.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present and explain design ideas to non-designers.Knowledge of web design, HTML, CSS, and WordPress is a plus.What we offerCompetitive salary and benefits package, including health, life dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) with company match, and unlimited paid time off.The chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families seeking affordable, faith-based healthcare solutions.Great culture where you work with the founders and key stakeholders in a relaxed, but innovative atmosphere.UHSM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
