Develops creative content and/or content strategies aligned to customer strategic objectives that engages the client and positions/promotes the firm's products, services, and brand. Content may be published through a broad range of media for marketing collateral, conferences, sales support, and advertising campaigns, among others. Provides training and guidance to less experienced professionals, checking for accuracy. May have a focus on either content creation, editing or management of targeted marketing programs.Responsibilities:

Develops effective strategies for communicating across multiple mediums to help solve marketing challenges. Reviews and edits content produced by less experienced professionals.Participates with design in creative meetings for project kickoffs and brainstorming sessions; then develops and recommends an appropriate style of written content needed to support marketing campaigns. Presents ideas and seeks to encourage clients and design to adopt recommended content.Fosters collaborative relationships with marketing peers to realize and implement creative content. Supports multiple business unit/department teams providing responsive and timely replies to their requests for content and editing of complex content.Develops content within writing style guidelines and promotes internal standards to less experienced staff to drive consistency in communication strategies. Performs advanced quality review and inspects deliverables for adherence to regulatory and product-appropriate guidelines, coordinating with compliance and legal colleagues as necessary.May also be responsible for management of select targeted marketing programs from development to execution.Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND5+ years of total relevant work experience.Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years as copywriter and/or content marketing in the defined contribution/recordkeeping business for B2B audiences; specifically plan sponsors, DC advisors and consultantsKnowledge and experience writing about legislative/regulatory issues impacting the retirement industryPlanning and writing digital, email and print contentUnderstanding of HTML, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and video scripting a plusAdvanced degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or Business preferredFINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work Flexibility
