If this sounds like you, then please read on!The RoleThe Social Media Photographer will play a significant role in the evolution of J/PR’s internal production capabilities as we continue to push the boundaries of content production in creative and efficient ways. The ideal candidate has demonstrated excellence in social media-focused photography, is a subject matter expert in best practices for Facebook and Instagram, and is considered a trendsetter when it comes to creating beautiful and engaging content. This individual will contribute strategically and tactically to the success of each social media campaign, overseeing all aspects of content production: scoping, bringing ideas and concepts to life, overseeing talent / props / vendors, shooting, editing, and delivering the final products to clients. As a leader on content missions, you must be highly organized, thorough, level-headed, and resourceful. You have demonstrated success planning ahead, mitigating risks, and solving client content needs.This role requires strong interpersonal skills due to frequent collaboration between our social media department and our clients. You must have the demeanor to work side-by-side with J/PR’s senior management and with clients in a fast-paced working environment. The content producer must be able to multitask through long hours and ever-changing directives while maintaining a diplomatic and problem-solving attitude.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesContent Missions / Digital ArchivesLead content creation (video, photography, graphic) at on-property shoots + content missions: planning, executing, editing post-production, client deliveryLiaise with account teams to understand overarching client goals, and then connect those to the development of content mission goals, shot lists, and itinerariesLiaise with client contact(s) to confirm itinerary and shoot flow, working with them to ensure they have scheduled/booked everything internallySchedule, hire, and procure in advance the appropriate models, influencers, vendors, and props for content shootsManage models, influencers, vendors, and props on-site during shootsManage post-production efforts (editing per specific brand guidelines, photoshopping as necessary, cropping, etc.) for all content shoots in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere ProCreate and manage an agency system for the meticulous management of content archives for each client and ensure content is archived and easily accessibleWork with clients and internal teams to understand and achieve project goalsLeverage knowledge of social media analytics, reporting tools, and paid social content types to inform content strategyBrainstorm and ideate engaging social posts—be as impactful and discerning with words as you are with visualsContent CalendarsMaintain client’s social brand and consistently deliver on-brand copy and content to support their aesthetic and voiceReview mockups and planned captions or monthly content calendars, offering insight and suggested editsOversee the external editing with client through editorial calendar platformEnsure content is published to Instagram and Facebook in agreed upon cadenceAccount and Client ManagementParticipate actively in internal meetings and be an active voice on all client calls / in-person meetings, leading portions of social updatesAssist with setting realistic client expectations for image delivery and deliver on those deadlinesAct as client first-responder for imagery requests and photo needs, content calendar requests, and content needsFacilitate project communication around content needs so clients and our team are informed, ready, and able to executeStay curious and current with the latest cultural and content trends, social tactics, platform changes, and industry news, educating and informing the agency and clientsIndustry / JPRSupport new business efforts by growing the social media content production capabilitiesLeverage affiliations with an external professional organization or two for networking and creating unique connectionsSeek out opportunities for learning and networking by attending conferences, workshops, and events on behalf of the agencyOtherAdditional tasks, projects, or duties as requiredExperienceCollege Degree or comparable work experience requiredAt least 4 years of professional experience working in photography, content production, and/or digital marketing at a leading agency or global luxury/premium brandClient-facing experience, proven ability to provide exceptional client serviceProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delegating, multitasking, and assuring quality to meet deadlinesExperience managing models and providing set directionExperience leading set design and prop stylingDrone videography is a big plusAgency experience strongly preferredTravel and/or hotel industry experience including food & beverage and spa/wellness preferredRequirementsAbility to travel for client needs - must have a valid passport for international travel

anticipated travel for this role: 3 times/month
