CBS Chicago, the #3 market station in the Paramount portfolio of television stations, is looking for a dynamic, innovative and experienced meteorologist to join our First Alert Weather team.
Responsibilities:Prepare and deliver weather reports and forecasts for on-air and on digital platforms at regularly scheduled times, either live or recorded. Deliver severe weather updates as needed.Analyze weather data and synthesize the information into clear, easy-to-understand graphics.Present weathercasts from the studio or on-location.
Requirements:A degree in Atmospheric Science or MeteorologyMust be skilled with telling a comprehensive and clear weather story, especially during extreme weather eventsMust be skilled at posting weather-related information on social media channelsMust have 5+ years of related experienceNWA and/or AMS Certified meteorologist preferred
