We craft delightful illustrations, graphics and design campaigns that cater to the needs of various squads within postman helping to amplify Postman's vision and story. As a core member of the team, you will help us achieve this mission and raise the bar of our brand. You will help us ideate and create visuals that are beautiful, intuitive, accessible, and interactive. You will actively contribute to our design system library and help with its adoption among different teams.What You’ll Do
The Visual Design team has designers divided into 2 groups. You will be working with the design-system team. On a daily basis, you will be:Working closely with Product designers and the marketing squads to ideate, create, prototype, and ship amazing artwork and graphics.Creating pixel-perfect mocks with detailed interactions and working hand-in-hand with engineers to ship the approved ideas to product.Contributing to our design system by providing feedback on the existing UI and visuals and adding to our Figma library of graphics through regular maintenance and upkeep.Consistent storytelling across the brand through understanding context providing guidance to non-design teams.Clearly and effectively articulating design decisions and best practices during design demos and reviewsAbout You
Based in the greater Boston area or at a minimum, on the East CoastExperience in graphic design, illustration and a strong understanding of user interfaceWilling to ideate multiple variations with prototyping first mindsetA portfolio showcasing excellent visual design or graphic design skillsKnows, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Powerpoint and Google slidesAt least 1-2 years of experience as a visual designer/graphic designerExperience working in a fast-paced environmentThorough understanding of design principles, interaction design, typography, and color systemsAble to work in a very collaborative manner, & operate on peer feedback - important to have a growth mindset and willingness to listen, learn and continuously improveAble to respectfully voice your opinion and be motivated to push the Postman brand to the next levelWhat Can Give You An Edge?

Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend.
