Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to be responsible for the execution and on-time delivery of highly impactful creative materials to support our global brand initiatives and product launches. Projects will cover a wide spectrum, ranging from website graphics, to advertising campaigns (print & digital) to company branding and promotional events, as well as other sales and marketing materials for our Zildjian family of brands including Zildjian, Vic Firth, and Balter Mallets. Reporting directly to the Director of Integrated Marketing, s/he will work in close collaboration with Brand Management, Social Media Managers, Education & Content Development, Trade & Event Marketing, Sales, and Artist Relations to create consumer communications that drive engagement with and affinity for our brands amongst our target consumers.Be the creative leader conceptualize campaigns, communications, and graphics for our brands. Effectively execute on-strategy ideas, and present multiple options for internal constituents to review, provide feedback, and approve. Manage the creative delivery process.Conceptualize, develop, gain approvals, and release all print, web, and digital advertising for US & International markets including, but not limited to consumer and trade print publications, digital display banner ads, and social media posts (both organic and paid opportunities including sponsored posts, canvas, carousel, and other ad formats)Work closely with the Social Media Managers in order to deliver a variety of assets formatted for each social platform (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)Conceptualize, develop, and execute email and web assets, Amazon storefront and A+ page assets, retail.com brand pages, artist profiles, and other web content for our owned assets as neededIn partnership with the Director of Integrated Marketing and SVP of Marketing, create brand guidelines and a brand book for all of our brands; institutionalize and uphold brand standards across all creative assetsIn partnership with Brand Management, lead design, development and production of all product packagingDesign and develop trade show assets, POS, and sales collateral including sell sheets and annual product catalogs. Lead in not only development but execution, ensuring materials are printed and delivered as plannedPerform production functions for existing creative including resizing, revising, refreshing ads, web creative, and other sales & marketing collateralMaintain an archive of all creative job files, digital assets, and product and artist photographyAct as program lead for all creative projects, inclusive of: fielding and aligning on creative briefs, acquiring price quotes, assigning part numbers and UPCs as necessary, building, aligning, and adhering to project timelines, and gaining brand management and leadership approval to creativeIn partnership with Brand Management teams, conceptualize, coordinate, and manage product and brand photo shootsQualifications

4 year degree, and 5+ years as a designer in a B2C focused environmentExceptional conceptual and design skills and a robust portfolio that shows your talent in print, web, and digital creative developmentExpertise with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XDUnderstanding of Adobe After Effects, Figma, LightroomProficient in Microsoft PowerPoint with strong storytelling, side design and production skillsExcellent project management skills and ability to multi-task and track a wide variety of activities under deadline, paying close attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly collaborative and experience working with multiple cross-functional partnersKnowledge of art and photography rights, documentation, licensing, etcUp-to-date on current design and social media trends
