If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.The Role: Marketing Communications Manager – Zildjian Family of BrandsWe are looking for a creative strategist to develop and implement owned, earned, and paid media plans across our portfolio of brands and products. This individual will leverage consumer and customer insights to engage existing and prospective audiences that drive brand affinity, engagement, and conversion.In this position, you will collaborate closely with Content, Brand, Sales, and Artist Relations teams to produce on-brand and on-trend content that engages consumers using consistent messaging and themes across all touchpoints.ResponsibilitiesOwned Media:Develop, implement, and optimize cohesive communication plans across all touchpoints including social media platforms, websites, email, etc., that drive brand and product awareness and engagement.Oversee all aspects of social media content calendar development (short and long-term views) to grow our social media following, reach, and engagement.Develop internal communications that inform and engage Zildjian team members on programming.Work with Sales team to develop high-impact marketing materials for customers, trade shows, etc.Earned Media:Be our in-house public relations expert-managing external communications including development of press releases and media kits that generate domestic and international media coverage.Develop and execute experiential marketing programming.Develop Awards and Designations submissions for company, as well as industry and marketing programming.Paid Media:Partner with the Digital and Ecommerce Marketing Manager to identify paid media channels that drive direct-to-consumer and retailer sales.A/B test creative across platforms to generate actionable insights that yield strong results against key measures including ROAS, conversion rate, transactions, and more.Refine and optimize influencer marketing strategy that reach and engage new audiences.Results Reporting:Regular (weekly/monthly/annually) results reporting that provide actionable insights that meet and exceed cross-channel KPIs.Supervisory Responsibility:Manage, mentor, and inspire internal Social Media Manager.Manage external partners (e.g., public relations, etc.)Non-essential Functions:In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may be required to perform other non-essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.LEVEL OF SUPERVISION RECEIVED:Under general supervision, position requires updating and reporting of current workflow, budget, and project status.RequirementsEDUCATION, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field.A minimum of 7 years’ experience working across various marketing and communications disciplines.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.TECHNICAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, And/or LICENSES:Ability to create exceptional visual and written communications.Ability to develop, assess, and action results reports to drive maximum impact across platforms.A deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, including knowledge of the types of content needed to engage existing audiences and acquire new audiences.REASONING ABILITY:Exceptional attention to detail and project management.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Language Skills:Ability to read, analyze and interpret spreadsheets, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations.Ability to write results reports, create budget spreadsheets, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS and/or PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent will frequently be required to sit and/or stand for extended period of time; use a computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse regularly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Some travel required.
