Our Talent Entertainment team is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Account Executive in our Los Angeles Office to assist with an outstanding roster of candidates within music, sports, and entertainment.This is a great opportunity to advance your skills writing creative pitches, press releases, conducting outreach to media in a strategic and professional manner, with the goal being successful placement of stories across various outlets. Further responsibilities within the team include writing creating media lists, brainstorming and researching press opportunities for clients, as well as tracking, monitoring, and circulating daily press coverage in a timely manner.Our team is looking for a creative and resourceful team player who is knowledgeable about relevant media - with the desire to expand their network of media relationships. Further, excellent writing skills, and strong attention to detail and strong communication skills are a priority.The Needs:Provide administrative support including setting up conference calls, meetings, taking notes, and other tasks as neededBook travel arrangements and build detailed travel itineraries (air, hotel & ground transportation) for clients and publicistsMonitor press clippings for clients, track media impressions and ad values and craft/maintain coverage reports and gridsCollaborate with the entertainment team in brainstorming pitch anglesHandle incoming press requests and research press contacts at media outletsOngoing maintenance and update media listsReview and edit press materials including press releases and alertsEnsure press kits are currentRespond and update client/industry interaction via phone and e-mailThe Fine Print:1+ years of experience working in the entertainment industry or in an agency setting preferredExperience working with talent, entertainment, film studios, or agencies is strongly preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge in Muck Rack, Cision, and other entertainment research-based programs preferredProfessional and friendly communication skillsOutstanding organizational and time management skillsResponsive and professional written and verbal communication skillsProven track record to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentWhy Us:R&CPMK
