Hope for the Heart is seeking a highly creative Graphic Designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations, both in print and digital media.
The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and should be skilled with every step of the design process from concept to final deliverable. In addition to design, we are seeking a candidate who has basic videography/editing skills to help create short, creative videos for the ministry.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of layout, color, typography, branding and marketing. This candidate will also be able to design well in a fast-paced work environment that includes multiple products and business units.Responsibilities
Collaborate and strategize with ministry team members on a wide range of materials that may include print materials, book design, social media graphics, email layout, banner ads, conference booth & banner design, signage, etc.Develop concepts for deliverables by utilizing software applications, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.Shoot and edit short video projects in a studio environment with basic knowledge of lighting and sound.Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Design/Graphic Design.Minimum of at least 5-10 years in design related roles.Experience with print design, digital design, brand identity & architecture, social media design, and signage and banner design.Experience designing for multiple clients and contributors.Experience working on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
