Texas Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department. This role will involve the creation of high-quality print and digital designs from initial concept to final production. The ideal candidate will work under direct supervision and be receptive to direction to achieve project objectives.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with our Graphic Design Manager to translate project objectives into resonant designs.Develop visually appealing materials for diverse media platforms.Ensure all deliverables align with creative guidelines and brand standards.Contribute to the creation of templates to streamline design workflows without compromising quality.Execute revisions accurately and independently while following directives.Engage in cross-functional collaboration to meet project goals and adhere to timelines.Effectively communicate ideas and creative solutions to gain support and understanding.Actively seek and embrace opportunities to contribute to concept projects and campaign development.Requirements:Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a design-related field from an accredited university.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design within a firm, agency, corporate environment, or equivalent higher education (e.g., MA or MFA in Graphic Design).Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.Ability to work within established brand frameworks and standards.Familiarity with design file preparation, standards, and packaging for various media.Knowledge of printing procedures and file production.Strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time-management skills.Creative and conceptual problem-solving abilities with a passion for continuous learning.An online portfolio showcasing a range of design work is required.Comfortable copywriting for certain design pieces and knowledge of brand voice.Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, embracing feedback to refine work and achieve project goals.Flexibility to work during extended hours, including evenings and weekends, in a high-paced environment.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with photography/videography, motion graphics, and video editing.Knowledge of WordPress and HTML&CSS coding.Skills in Experiential, Environmental, and Interior Design.Interview Process:During the interview process, candidates may be requested to complete a design task to showcase their skills and creativity.Note:
