Job Title: Graphic DesignerDepartment: MarketingReports To: Senior Graphic DesignerSalary Range: $40,000 - $45,000FLSA Status: Exempt
Primary ResponsibilitiesThe following responsibilities describe the general nature of work for employees in this position, but this is not intended as an exclusive or all-inclusive inventory.Works within Marketing team to develop and implement best in class campaign concepts and creative.Ensures brand coherency and consistency across all creative output.Creates innovative concepts and implements designs for digital and print projects. This is inclusive of but not limited to:
Digital marketing assets (social, web, digital ads, dynamic content, email creative, etc.)Traditional marketing assets (print ads, brochures, signage, invitations, etc.)
Supports institution-wide initiatives as needed in both lead and supporting roles.Proactively identifies emerging design trends and contributes to robust internal creative conversations.Maintains technical knowledge by engaging in workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participation in skill development.Serves on various committees as assigned.To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. REQUIRED SKILLSProficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator in a Mac environment.A keen eye for design and attention to detail.Strong technical skills for a variety of formats including digital and print.Demonstrated flexibility to adjust to rapidly changing requirements and schedules, and at times act on own initiative.Works collaboratively with peers and other departments to continuously improve quality and performance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, or similar.2-3 years of related experience.
